Motorists robbed at gunpoint in St. Philip

There are reports of two incidents of car theft at gunpoint last night in St. Philip.

Sources indicate that around 8 p.m., a man was held up and robbed of his car at Marchfield. Shortly after, around 8:30 p.m., a couple was similarly robbed in the car park of the Kirtons Gas Station.

The first stolen vehicle was recovered a short time later in Harlington, St. Philip.

The Nation reached out to the Barbados Police Service for further information, but there was no response.
