US media are reporting at least two confirmed deaths following the collision of two aircraft in Arizona, Wednesday morning.

The accident occurred at the Marana Regional Airport where two small planes collided according to ABC affiliate KGUN.

In a Facebook post, the Marana Police Department confirmed the accident just before 12:00 pm MST.

It’s the latest in a series of deadly aviation accidents that have plagued the United States in the last 30 days including the deadly American Eagle Flight 5342 accident where a military helicopter crashed into the aircraft killing everyone on board.

The US Sun has reported that the airspace is without an air traffic control tower. (US Sun)
