House fire leaves one injured

A house fire in Bridgefield, St. Thomas, this morning has left one person with burns.

Firefighters responded to the call at 11:16 a.m. and arrived to find the house fully engulfed in flames. Two tenders from Bridgetown were dispatched to the scene.

Station Officer Roger Bourne confirmed that one occupant sustained burns during the incident.

Investigations into the cause of the fire are still ongoing.
