Police seek help to find missing 12-year-old girl

Police are appealing to the public for assistance in locating 12-year-old Tylah Shaniyah Faith Carter, who has been reported missing.

Carter, a student of the Lester Vaughn Secondary School, was last seen by her brother on Thursday, February 27, 2025. She resides at Lot 22, Shop Hill Terrace, St. Thomas.

She is described as being five feet six inches tall, of brown complexion, with a slim build, round head, oval-shaped face, thick eyebrows, and small brown eyes. She has a broad forehead, full lips, large ears—each pierced once—pointed chin and a thin, long neck. Her hair is short, black, and straightened.

Carter also has long, muscular legs with large calves, large flat feet, and an erect posture. She is full-breasted and speaks with a soft, pleasant voice and a Barbadian accent.

At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a blue t-shirt, multicolored short pants and white flip-flops. She is known to frequent Bridgetown, particularly Tudor Street, as well as Queen’s Park and St. Christopher, Christ Church.
