Three men, sentenced to 25 years in prison in what a judge described as a terrorising of a neighbourhood and attempted murder, are appealing their convictions and sentences.

Andre Omar Jackman, Kaeron Sylvian Moore and Shane Hakeem Omar Babb are challenging their November 18, 2021 imprisonment on the grounds that the trial judge erred during the case and that the prison term imposed was excessive.
The matters came up before the Court of Appeal presided over by Chief Justice Leslie Haynes and Justices of Appeal Margaret Reifer and Victoria Charles-Clarke yesterday and will continue today.
Jackman, also alias “Lord Evil” and “Punchies”, 46, of Stroud Bay; Moore, 38, also of Stroud Bay; and Babb, 38, of Ellis Road, Crab Hill, all in St Lucy, had been unanimously convicted after a two-month trial on an indictment of having a firearm without a licence on September 30, 2018 and endangering lives of Reshawn Greaves and Michael Abbott.
