Several schools close early due to smoke in the area

Several schools have announced early closures today as smoke from a grass fire in the Bushy Park area continues to impact air quality and affect students and staff.

Charles F. Broome Primary, Ellerslie Secondary, and Springer Memorial Secondary are among the institutions impacted by the smoke.

The schools have advised parents and guardians to collect their children as a matter of urgency.
