While Minister in the Ministry of Finance Ryan Straughn highlighted a booming construction sector in his Budget presentation, Opposition Leader Ralph Thorne offered a different perspective, stating that the benefits are not being felt by workers on the ground.

Thorne argued that many citizens feel aggrieved and alienated by the Government’s approach. He said some are frustrated that key decisions are only made known after they are finalised.

“We might be driven or voted off this landscape if we are not careful,” he cautioned, pointing to growing dissatisfaction across the country.
