Goals from captain Kayne Wharton, Thierry Downey and Ahijah Springer led the Barbados boys to their first victory of the 2025 Junior Men’s Pan American Challenge yesterday, as they dominated Guatemala 3-1.

Playing at the Wildey Astro Turf in St Michael, Wharton and his team went up against bottom of the group Guatemala, led by Oscar Roland. Guatemala were on the scorecard with a perfect penalty in the seventh minute that was scored by Allan Gonzalves.

After that, it was all Ultramarine and Gold on display.
