Motorists are advised that the roadway from Airy Hill Bottom to Braggs Hill in St Joseph will be closed to vehicular traffic from Monday, March 24, 2025, for an estimated period of four months.

The closure is to facilitate road rehabilitation works under the Ministry of Transport and Works’ (MTW) Scotland District Road Rehabilitation Project. Infra Construction Inc. will be carrying out the repairs between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. daily. The work will include the construction of a new culvert and realignment of the road.

During the closure period, motorists travelling northbound from Parris Hill to Braggs Hill will be diverted east at Parris Hill onto Coffee Gully, then left past Hunte’s Gardens onto Chimborazo Road, before continuing left onto Highway 3A, left onto Sugar Hill, and left again at the junction of Highway 3A and Airy Hill.

Southbound traffic from Braggs Hill to Parris Hill will be diverted west at the junction of Highway 3A and Airy Hill, then right onto Sugar Hill, right onto Highway 3A, and right onto Chimborazo Road until reaching Hunte’s Gardens, where vehicles can turn right at the Coffee Gully junction onto Highway 3 to proceed to Parris Hill.
