Two men found dead at Foul Bay Beach

Update – Authorities have identified the two men found dead with multiple stab wounds at Foul Bay Beach, St. Philip, on Tuesday night, April 1st.

The deceased have been named as Javan Devere Burton, 33, of 3rd Avenue, Ocean City, St. Philip, and Dejuan Amon Niles, 21, of Hopewell, Silver Sands, Christ Church.

Police are investigating the deaths of two men who were discovered with multiple stab wounds at Foul Bay Beach, St. Philip, late Tuesday night, April 1st.

According to reports, the Barbados Police Service received a call around 11:18 p.m. from a man who stated that he had been involved in an altercation with another male, who had sustained injuries. Officers from the District C Station responded to the scene, where they conducted a search and found the bodies of two men.

A medical doctor was called to the scene and later pronounced both men dead.

Investigations into the matter are ongoing, and law enforcement officials are urging anyone with information to come forward. Persons who may have witnessed the incident or have relevant details are asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-8477, Police Emergency at 211, or the District C Police Station at 416-8200 or 416-8201.
