Gunfire damages vehicles, homes in Vine Street area

Police are investigating a shooting incident that occurred earlier today, Saturday, in the area of Vine Street, St. Michael.

Lawmen responded to the scene around 2:20 p.m. after receiving reports of gunshots being discharged.

Preliminary investigations revealed that a series of gunshots were heard in the vicinity, resulting in damage to three motorcars and two houses.

There were no immediate reports of injuries. Investigations are continuing.

The Barbados Police Service is urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who has information that could assist with the investigation to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-8477, Police Emergency at 211, or the Criminal Investigations Department at 430-7189 or 430-7190.
