‘Sniper’ in police custody

Update – Kevin Stephan Peterson, 37, of Collymore Rock, St Michael, has been formally charged in connection with a serious assault that occurred late last month.

Police from the Criminal Investigations Department at Hastings/Worthing arrested Peterson for causing serious bodily harm to Jose Gill while at Brathwaite’s Gap, Dayrells Road, St Michael, on Thursday, March 27, 2025.

He appeared before Magistrate Bernadette John in the District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court No. 2 on Monday, April 14.

Peterson was not required to plead and has been remanded to Dodds Prison until May 5.

Kevin Stephan Peterson, alias Sniper, who was the subject of a wanted bulletin issued earlier this month, is now in police custody.

The 37-year-old was wanted in connection with serious criminal matters. He was apprehended on Friday, April 11, and is currently assisting officers with ongoing investigations.
