Woman remanded on gun and ammo charges

A 30-year-old Christ Church woman was remanded to Barbados Prison Service (Dodds) after appearing in court on firearm and ammunition charges today.

She is Shawntell Katrina Greenidge of Bartlett’s Tenantry Road, Sargeant’s Village, who was charged with possession of a firearm and 26 rounds of ammunition. Both offences are alleged to have occurred on May 20, 2025 along Roebuck Street, St Michael.

Greenidge appeared before Magistrate Manila Renee in the District ‘A’ Magistrate Court #2 and was not required to plead to the indictable charges. She is scheduled to reappear on June 20. (PR/SAT)
