Adam Mallalieu conquers the stages under the floodlights at Bushy Park Raceway tonight.

Serving as the first of three stages for the start of 2025 BCIC Rally Barbados. The 2.20-kilometre course carved out on the circuit wasn’t a place to win the rally, but it was certainly a place where you could lose the rally.

The first major victim was Jayden Thompson, who crashed on the bridge on the first pass, but he and co-driver Jacob Mustor walked away just fine.

Amid all the action, Adam Mallalieu set the fastest time on the first stage. Adam, a former Karter, was at home on the circuit. Second on the first pass, Gregg, a man on a mission, and third was defending champion Stuart Maloney, followed by brother Mark in fourth and two-time European Rally Champion Simon Jean-Joseph sitting in fifth.

The Malvern to Sweet Vale test was scheduled to be the second but was cancelled due to apparent safety concerns, so the early crews made their way back to Bushy Park for stage three.
