One dead in collision at Pollards, St Philip

Update: Kevon Forde of Lot 2, Content Cot, St Philip has been identified as the victim of a fatal road collision that occurred on Sunday morning in Pollards Land, St Philip.

The 36-year-old was the driver of a motorcar involved in a collision with a motor omnibus around 11:07 a.m. Police say both vehicles were travelling in opposite directions when the incident occurred.

Forde sustained serious injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the bus and one passenger reported minor injuries and opted to seek private medical treatment.

Police from District ‘C’ Station are continuing investigations and are appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision to contact them at 416-8200 or 416-8201.
