UPDATE: Stabbing victim in critical condition

The man who was stabbed at Rihanna Drive, Westbury Road, St Michael on Sunday night is in critical condition at the Queen’s Elizabeth Hospital (QEH).

Police have not released his name, but confirmed the incident took place around 9:35 p.m. at the intersection with Blanch Gap.

On arrival at the scene, police said they learnt a man stumbled into a house in the district with what appeared to be several stab wounds about his body. Residents called for the ambulance service and the victim was transported to the QEH.

Investigations are continuing and anyone who can provide any information that can assist is asked to call the Criminal Investigations Department (Central) at 430-7189 or 430-7190, Police Emergency 211, Crime Stoppers at 1800-TIPS (8477) or the nearest Police Station. (PR/SAT)

The man sustained several stab wounds and was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for treatment.
