Update: Man dies following crash on Dayrells Hill

Investigations continue into the fatal accident that occurred along Dayrells Hill, St Michael on Saturday evening.

According to police reports, the Operations Control Room received a call about an accident with injuries around 7:37 p.m. Officers and personnel from the Barbados Fire Service were dispatched to the scene.

On arrival, they found the driver unresponsive and after examination, stated that there were no signs of life. A medical doctor was summoned and pronounced him dead at the scene.

The deceased has been identified as Stephenson Bryan.

Initial investigations suggest the driver was heading toward Bridgetown when he experienced a medical emergency, lost control of the vehicle, and crashed into a cut rock on the side of the road.
