Ryan Hinds joins Windies coaching team at camp

Former Barbados captain and West Indies allrounder, Ryan Hinds, has joined the West Indies cricket squad camp in the build-up to the three match Test series against Australia.

The 44 year old is part of Cricket West Indies (CWI) international coaching experience programme and he will be with the team for the ongoing camp and the first Test at Kensington Oval.

The programme is geared towards providing opportunities for local and regional coaches to gain experience and knowledge working at the highest level of the sport.

Hinds played 15 Tests and 14 One-Day Internationals between 2001 and 2004.

West Indies players have been hard at work in the middle as the get ready to meet the world’s No.1 ranked team in the opening Test which bowls off on Wednesday, June 25. (PS)

Earlier today, rain interrupted the West Indies men’s training camp at Kensington Oval. Coach Daren Sammy gave the ground staff a hand with the covers, making the sure the square was fully covered for when they could resume.
