Escaped prisoner charged again

Escaped prisoner Kishon Anderson Lemar Thomas is scheduled to return to court today to answer charges surrounding his escape and subsequent capture.

Thomas, 26, of Nichols Road, Seaview, St James, was an inmate of Barbados Prison Service (Dodds), when he escaped custody on May 2, 2025 while seeking medical treatment at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

He remained on the run until July 12 and is charged with assaulting and resting police in the execution of duty. There are also two counts of assaulting police on April 30.

He appeared at the District ‘A’ Criminal Court #1 on Wednesday, July 16, 2025. (PR/SAT)
