One man shot and killed at Country Park Towers

Update: Police are continuing investigations into a fatal shooting that occurred around 7:15 a.m. this morning at Country Park Towers, Country Road, St Michael.

Reports revealed that two men were walking between two apartment blocks when gunshots were fired. Both men were injured.

One of the victims was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by private vehicle, where he later died from his injuries.

The second man’s condition has not been disclosed at this time.

Police are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who has information that can assist with the investigation to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-8477, Police Emergency at 211, or the District ‘A’ Police Station at 430-7242 or 430-7246.

One man is confirmed dead after a shooting early this morning at Country Park Towers, Country Road, St Michael.

Police public affairs and communications officer Inspector Ryan Brathwaite confirmed the incident and said another person was also injured.

This is homicide No. 32.

Brathwaite also said there might have been a police involved shooting at Black Rock. The man is said to be receiving treatment at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
