Pastor Lowe passes away

Pastor and popular gospel singer Vincent Anthony “Tony” Lowe, who was at Dodds prison awaiting sentence on a sexual assault conviction died yesterday.

Sources said Lowe was transported to the QEH yesterday morning after he told prison authorities that he was not feeling well.

He subsequently passed away.

The 71-year-old cleric of Mount Standfast St James was found guilty back in April for the repeated molestation of a 16-year-old girl 14 years ago.

The head of prayer palace ministries assaulted the girl while giving her piano lessons.

He was due to be sentenced following a pre-sentence report. (MB)
