St John man charged with perjury

A St John man was released on $15 000 bail, as he prepares to answer charges of perjury.

Trevon Omar Richards, 31 years of Colleton Land, was alleged to have committed the indicatable offence on April 11, 2025 in the trial of The State vs Gabriel Hayde.

He was not required to plead and granted bail with one surety when he appeared before Chief Magistrate Ian Weekes in the District ‘A’ Criminal Court No. 1 on Tuesday.

Richards is scheduled to reappear on Monday, November 24, 2025. (PR/SAT)
