Patron dies after collapsing at CARIFESTA XV concert

A patron at CARIFESTA XV, who was rushed by emergency personnel to the hospital, has passed.

CPR was performed on the man on the spot after he collapsed while dancing during the Sur Caribe set of the Caribbean Jazz & World Beat Super Concert at Richard Stoute Amphitheatre, National Botanical Gardens early this morning.

One patron who went for the EMTs told Nation News that the man was coughing up blood before being placed on a stretcher and put into the back of the waiting ambulance.

His name and age are unknown at this time. (NS)
