The Pendry Hotel at Six Men’s, St Peter is beginning to take shape and even residents in the neighbouring fishing village are marvelling at its development.

When a Daily Nation team visited the area last week, hundreds of workmen were busy erecting the structure and operating equipment.

Joy-ann Haigh, whose company Haigh Communications is managing the hotel’s public relations, said that construction was on track for its 2027 completion date.

“The construction started with road works in 2023, followed by site preparation in 2024 which included revetment work on the beach,” she said.

“The construction of the hotel commenced in the first quarter of 2025 and is expected to be completed in 2027, weather permitting.”

Haigh said Pendry Barbados will feature 80 newly designed beachfront guestrooms, a private marina, multiple signature dining concepts, Spa Pendry, Paintbox Kids’ Club and more, all alongside the debut of Pendry Residences Barbados. (MB)
