Inspector Ryan Brathwaite is once more appealing for help identifying the body of the woman found in Christie Village, St Thomas, on August 14.

The inspector said that police are still appealing to anyone in Barbados or outside of the country to help with the woman’s identity.

“We’ve been working around the clock, we’re digging as much as we can go and we really need help in identifying the body. So anybody who has information, anybody who knows anything, we’re appealing to you to please come forward,” he said.

Brathwaite stated that the cause of death has yet to be determined since autopsies require identification before they can be conducted.

“We have done fingerprints, we have looked for tattoos and marks on the body, things that will help to identify the individual. Unfortunately there are no tattoos,” he added.

The inspector advised that anyone with information can contact the police Hotline at 211, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-8477 or a senior investigating officer in the Holetown division at cell phone number 836-1278.
