A man who broke a woman’s bedroom window and threatened to enter will learn his fate later this week.

Asif Iqbal Padmore, 46, of Henley Land, St John, appeared in the District “C” Magistrates’ Court last Wednesday, where he confessed to committing criminal damage on August 23 by breaking a window belonging to Allison Bruce and being reckless as to whether it would be damaged.

Prosecutor Sergeant Mary Eugene said the complainant lives with her father who stays downstairs while she resides upstairs. Padmore also lives in the area.

Around 11 o’clock that night she was sitting in her bedroom when she heard footsteps going up the stairs outside. She heard a loud knock on her bedroom window, followed by shattered glass. (SD)
