Barbadian Professional wrestler Brother Greatness has been in Barbados making the rounds and showcasing his home country to fellow professional wrestler “The Pope” Elijah Burke.

The first-ever Bajan Brawl put on by All Caribbean Wrestling (ACW), is set to entertain the fans at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre tomorrow evening.

In the last week, the wrestlers on the card have been cutting “promos” on social media to create hype for the event using their various personas, regardless of whether they are a heel character or a baby face character.

Bradley Mcelroy, who was born in Christ Church, Barbados and goes by the name Brother Greatness or, in other cases, “the wrestling Christian”, made the rounds with former WWE, TNA and NWA wrestler Elijah Burke, and Mcelroy had this to say on what got him into wrestling.

“Oh man, my cousins up in St. Lucy, we’d be up there fighting and carrying on. I’m telling you, man, it’s not the right here in town kind of thing. We’re going straight up over there in St. Lucy, and throughout that entire process, you started learning about amateur wrestling, Olympic wrestling.”

“You’re watching it, watching Smackdown on TV, you’re seeing fantastic professionals, and at some point, I said, you know, I could be a part of this Yes. I can help add to this. It was very humble stepping into it, because you’re thinking, the six foot four, six foot five monsters, and I said, “No, I can go in there and present something unique, something simple, something that’s great.”

Tomorrow night, Brother Greatness will take on Trinidadian Professional wrestling Trini Dan in the main Event. (SW)
