Scotiabank Barbados has earned two major honours at the Global Finance Best Digital Bank Awards 2025.

The bank received Best Corporate/Institutional Digital Bank and Best Mobile Banking App awards.

The Global Finance Best Digital Bank Awards are among the most respected in the industry, with winners selected based on digital strategy, success in driving adoption, growth in digital users, breadth of services, measurable benefits of digital initiatives, and excellence in design and functionality.

“As digital banking continues to evolve at a rapid pace, financial institutions around the world are embracing [artificial intelligence], cloud technology, and mobile-first strategies to deliver seamless, secure, and highly personalised experiences,” said Joseph D. Giarraputo, founder and editorial director of Global Finance.

“The winners of Global Finance’s 2025 World’s Best Digital Bank Awards exemplify the innovation and leadership shaping the future of banking.”

Suzette Armoogam-Shah, managing director, Scotiabank Barbados, said: “This is the first time we have received the Best Corporate/Institutional Digital Bank award and the third time being recognised for the Best Mobile Banking App by Global Finance.

These awards highlight our commitment to providing clients with fast, reliable, and secure digital solutions.
