Five charged with multiple robberies and burglaries

Update: Five men accused of a series of robberies, burglaries, and related offences across several parishes have been remanded to Dodds Prison and will return to court in October.

Damon Hayden Cummins, 16, Serrian Jamali Scott-Fagan, 20, Tyreall Jamar Kidd, 17, Runako Jeremiah Nurse, 17, and Deroy Leron Holder, 45, appeared before Chief Magistrate Ian Weekes in the District ‘A’ Criminal Court No. 1 on Tuesday.

They face a wide range of charges including robbery, aggravated burglary, burglary, assault, assault with intent to rob, use of a firearm, theft, handling stolen property, and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

In Holetown, the accused are charged with robbery of Traquon Sealy, Selwyn Butcher, Orville Best, Henderson Seale, Nikos Ifill, Otha Holder, Jayden Blackett, Akil Turton, Portia Blackman, Tre Massiah, Hazel Smith, Stacia Callender, Darryl Bassaw, Andrea Hope-Pritchard, Gabriel Medford, Jahrin Turney, and John Giltoro. Tyreall Kidd also faces a charge for use of a firearm.

In Crab Hill, charges include aggravated burglary of Jackson Anthony and robbery of Fitzgerald Harvey.

In District ‘D’, the men face robbery charges for Stephen Phillips, Anthony Springer, Ajani Small, and Marguerite Bellamy.

At Black Rock, the charges include robbery of Kent Durant, Rodney Williams, Deon Pilgrim, and Ken Weekes; assault with intent to rob Mencea King; burglary of Donlincia Paddy; and aggravated burglary and assault of Janice Husbands.

Cummins also faces additional charges including assault occasioning actual bodily harm of John Gibson, burglary of Evanson Joseph, theft of Andrew Springer and Leo Parris, and robbery of Seymour Lane and Wendell Medford.

In District ‘E’, the trio of Cummins, Scott-Fagan, and Kidd are charged with handling stolen property belonging to Natasha Cumberbatch.

The Holetown and District ‘E’ matters were transferred to the Holetown Magistrates’ Court for Tuesday, October 28. District ‘D’ matters will be heard on Thursday, October 9, at the District ‘D’ Magistrates’ Court. District ‘A’ matters are scheduled for Tuesday, October 21, in District ‘A’ Criminal Court No. 2.

The accused were not required to plead and will remain on remand until their next court appearances Five men have been arrested and charged in connection with a series of robberies, burglaries, and other offences committed across several parishes during August and September 2025.
