A 40-year-old man from St George has been fined $5 000 after pleading guilty to several drug-related offences.

Police said Damian Clairmont Grosvenor, of St Jude’s, St George, was arrested and charged by the Barbados Police Service’s Narcotics Unit in connection with an incident on October 23, 2025.
He was charged with possession of cannabis, trafficking of cannabis, intent to supply cannabis, and cultivation of cannabis.
According to police, the total estimated weight of the seized drugs was 22.9 kilograms, with a street value of approximately $91 600.
Grosvenor appeared before Magistrate Douglas Frederick in the District “B” Magistrates’ Court today, where he pleaded guilty to the charges.
He was fined $5 000 forthwith and ordered to complete 240 hours of community service. He is also required to attend drug counselling.
