A 26-year-old man from St George has been charged in connection with the shooting death of Anthony Callender earlier this year.

Police said Kadeem O’Brien Clarke, of Johnson Road, Workmans, was arrested and formally charged with murder, possession of a firearm, and possession of nine rounds of ammunition. The offences were allegedly committed on January 23, 2025.
Clarke appeared before Chief Magistrate Ian Weekes in the District ‘A’ Criminal Court on Thursday, where he was not required to plead to the indictable offences. He was remanded to Dodds Prison until his next court appearance.
The matter has been transferred to the District ‘A’ Traffic Court for hearing on November 13, 2025.
