Shirley Chisholm School to close half day on Monday

The Shirley Chisholm School will close at midday on Monday, October 27, to allow staff, students, and parents to attend the funeral of a close family member of the principal.

In a statement issued Sunday, the Ministry of Educational Transformation extended condolences to the principal, relatives, and friends of the deceased, expressing wishes for comfort and strength during the period of mourning.

Normal classes are expected to resume on Tuesday.
