Update: Family of the late Tridan Rock, 27, are on the scene at Kendal Hill B, Christ Church.

His uncle and sister, who requested anonymity, said Rock loved motorcycles, cars, and horses.

Rock was killed by masked gunmen outside the house where he lived with his girlfriend. He had a five-year-old son.

Police said the shooting occurred around 1:40 p.m. on Sunday.

Investigations revealed that two masked men exited a motorcar and discharged several gunshots into a parked vehicle, injuring Rock, who was inside.

Ambulance personnel examined the body and reported no signs of life. A medical doctor later pronounced him dead at the scene.

This marks the 40th homicide recorded in Barbados for 2025.

Police investigations are continuing, and anyone with information that can assist is asked to contact the Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-8477, Police Emergency at 211, or the Oistins Police Station at 418-2612.
