A five-member Barbados team is satisfied with their performance at the 2025 International Practical Shooting Confederation (IPSC) Handgun World Shoot in South Africa.

The contingent returned to the island’s shores armed with valuable experience from the IPSC Handgun Level 5 competition held in Malosana.

The challenging three-week event saw 1 600 competitors from various countries. The shoot consisted of 30 exciting stages that tested the accuracy, various skill sets and endurance.

Regional director Kevin Grant revealed that though they did not win their classes, the Barbadians gave a good account of themselves.
