Man shot outside his home in Maxwell

Police at the Oistins Station are investigating a late-night shooting that injured a man in Maxwell, Christ Church, around 11:40 p.m. on Monday.

Reports indicate that the victim had just arrived at his home when he was confronted by an armed assailant. Several shots were fired, injuring him.

He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by private vehicle, where he is receiving treatment. Investigations are ongoing.
