Teen charged with 32 counts of criminal deception

Raquan Ricardo Clarke, 19, of #38 6th Avenue North, Wildey, St. Michael, appeared before Chief Magistrate Ian Weekes in the District ‘A’ Criminal Court No. 1 today.

Clarke is charged with multiple counts of criminal deception across several districts, including eight counts involving Peter Carter, sixteen counts involving Joseph Atherley, and additional counts involving Gracelyn Wiles, Anne-Marie Persid, Janet Mullin, Jarvis Perry, and Katrina Bend. The total value of property involved is $32,979 Bds.

He pleaded not guilty to the offences and was remanded to the Barbados Prison Service, Dodds. Clarke is scheduled to reappear in court on Monday, December 15.

A 19-year-old St Michael man has been charged in connection with a series of criminal deception offences that reportedly netted nearly $33 000.
