Jason Holder has been named in the International Cricket Council’s (ICC) Team of the Tournament for the 2026 Men’s T20 Cricket World Cup.

The 34-year-old allrounder from Barbados was selected for his outstanding performances with both bat and ball. He is the only West Indies player to make the elite team.

In his even matches, Holder grabbed 10 wickets at an economy rate of 8.87 with a best bowling performance of 4-27 against Nepal in the preliminary round.

He also scored 141 runs in seven matches at an average of 35.25 and strike rate of 174.

Holder also played a pivotal role in one of the standout performances of the tournament when he scored 49 off 31 balls during a record eighth-wicket partnership of 89 with Romario Shepherd against South Africa, the highest in Men’s T20 World Cup history.

The team of the tournament was picked by a selection panel comprising former West Indies fast bowler and analyst Ian Bishop, former England captain Eion Morgan, coach-turned-commentator Natalie Germanos, ICC representative Gaurav Saxena and senior Sri Lankan writer and journalist Rex Clementine.
