House fire at Bank Hall

UPDATE:

MP for St Michael West and Minister of Housing Chris Gibbs said his worst fears were realised when he learnt a woman had died in the fire at Bank Hall, St Michael today.

Gibbs, who was attending the third fire scene in a month, made a plea for fire safety around the home.

A 48-year-old woman perished in an evening fire at Bank Hall, St Michael. Deputy chief fire officer Henderson Patrick spoke to the media at the scene.

The Barbados Fire Service is at this time responding to a house fire at Bank Hall, St Michael.
