The transport authority has suspended two ZR drivers captured on video in a violent confrontation last Saturday, during which one driver rammed his vehicle into the other.

Chief executive officer of the Transport Authority, Ruth Holder, confirmed the suspensions to the DAILY NATION yesterday. She said she met with the owners of both vehicles and one of the drivers at the authority’s office at the Granville Williams Bus Terminal in The City yesterday.

The driver who allegedly rammed the parked route taxi could not be located and was suspended in absentia, she added.

“I met with both parties [yesterday] morning. We had a 7:30 meeting where I met with the owners of the vehicles as well as one of the drivers, and both drivers have been suspended until the Transport Authority completes the investigative process,” Holder said. (MB)
