The next generation of Caribbean bodybuilding yesterday flexed its potential during the opening salvo of the 2026 Roger Boyce Classic, as an energetic crop of juniors lit up the stage and proved that the sport’s future is in capable hands.

Before the senior competitors showcased months of gruelling gym work, strict dieting and preparation, the youngsters stole the spotlight with confidence, charisma and impressive physiques.

Held during the IFBB semi-pro segment of the prestigious event, the junior categories brought a lively atmosphere as screaming relatives and supporters cheered every pose and routine. Contestants competed across youth bodybuilding, children’s fitness and junior bodybuilding divisions, delivering performances packed with enthusiasm and determination.

Among the standout performers was junior national badminton player Yazmyn Eastmond, who captured the Children’s Fitness Girls 8-10 crown with an athletic and polished display. Seth Mayers claimed top honours in the Boys’ Youth Bodybuilding 6-8 division, while Glory Fraser secured victory in the junior girls’ category.
