Update
Police have confirmed that a man has died following a stabbing incident at Haynesville, St James earlier today.
According to the Barbados Police Service, the initial report was received around 2:50 p.m. from an anonymous caller indicating that a stabbing had occurred and that a man appeared to be dead.
Police units were dispatched to the scene where they were met by ambulance personnel, who examined the victim and confirmed there were no signs of life. A medical doctor later attended and pronounced death at the scene.
Investigations suggest the incident stemmed from a dispute between two men, resulting in one sustaining fatal stab wounds. A person of interest is currently assisting police with the investigation.
