Arrests made following robbery involving visitor at Bay Street

The Barbados Police Service says several young men have been arrested following investigations into a robbery involving a visitor to the island.

Police said the incident occurred near a business establishment along Bay Street, St Michael on Sunday, May 17.

According to the police, investigations into the matter led to the arrests and charges are expected to be laid against the individuals.

In a statement, the Barbados Police Service said it would remain “relentless” in pursuing perpetrators of crimes committed against both locals and visitors to the island.

Police also thanked the public and the media for their assistance as investigations continue.
