Fourth man charged in connection with 2024 murder

Police have charged a fourth man in connection with the 2024 murder of Shane Parris.

Jelani Finidi Kemau Nowell, 26 years, of Cliffden, Church Village, St Philip, is scheduled to appear in the District ‘C’ Magistrates’ Court on Monday. He is also charged with conspiracy to murder between January 11 and 13, 2024.

Parris was shot and killed on January 13 at Nursery No. 2, Four Roads, St Philip.

Previously, Jamaican national Luston Trace Qurie Watson, who was staying at  Heddings; Nigel “Bounty” Pinder of Cox Hill, Church Village; and Trever Nathan Gittens of Chapel Land No. 2, all in St Philip, were also charged with the murder of Parris. (Nation News)
