Share post:

It has been drawn to our attention that there is a notice circulating purporting to be from The Barbados Cyber Crime Security Authority, under the direction of the National Commissioner of Police.

It states that “we have identified all of your online activities which go against the Barbados cyber security laws 2025 amended”. It further states “the police commission request your immediate response to the Cyber Crime File” and lists a file number. It goes on to state that serious action will be taken within twenty-four (24) hours. The notice bears the name Richard Boyce Barbados Commissioner of Police and gives the address Roebuck Street, Bridgetown, St. Michael.

Please note that this is NOT an official notice or document from the Barbados Police Service. At no time will The Barbados Police Service send any such messaging online. A full and thorough investigation will be conducted into this matter.
