Thirty-year-old Jameson Fields of 3rd Avenue Chapman Lane, St. Michael has been identified as the victim of a fatal shooting in Hutson Alley, St. Michael.
The Barbados Police Service is investigating the shooting, which occurred around 5:35 p.m. on Sunday.
Police said investigations revealed that Fields was sitting in the area of a shed when he was shot by an assailant.
Medical assistance was sought and Fields was transported by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Investigations are continuing.
