It was the 16-year-old girl who initiated sex with him, accused Jason Andre Callender told the No. 5A Supreme Court yesterday.
Eventually, it turned into a “boyfriend/girlfriend relationship” and he would take her places, give her money and set up job interviews for her, he said.
“I would say it is my fault, ’cause I should never have let her get so close to me,” the accused said.
However, said the constable, the good relationship came to an end when he had to speak to her about DVDs she had taken without his permission. (HLE)
