Two men remanded

Two men appeared in the Oistins Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday before Magistrate Deidre McKenna and were remanded. They are both set to reappear there on November 11.

Jamario Akeem Warren, 28, of Parish Land, Christ Church is charged with using a firearm without a valid licence to do so on October 10, 2020; and unlawfully wounding Carlos Walcott with intent to maim, disfigure or disable him or to do some serious bodily harm to him on October 10, 2020.

Carlos Robert Jamal Walcott, 31, of #753 Kingsland Terrace, Christ Church is charged with using a firearm without a valid licence to do so on October 10, 2020.

He is also charged that he without lawful excuse damaged property belonging to Sophia Catwell being reckless as to whether such property would be damaged and by such damage was reckless as to whether the life of Sophia Catwell would be endangered.

Both were also charged that on October 10, 2020, they used unlawful violence towards another person and the conduct was such as would cause another person of reasonable firmness present at the scene to fear for the other person’s personal safety. (PR)
