One new COVID case, three recoveries

One person went into isolation today after testing positive for COVID-19 and three others will leave the facility at Harrison Point, St Lucy, after recovering from the viral illness.

The new case is a 30-year-old Guyanese woman who arrived on Trans Guyana on October 29 and was positive on her second test.

She brings the number of confirmed cases to date to 237.  Of these, 221 people have recovered, and eight are in isolation. There were seven deaths.

The Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory conducted 294 tests yesterday and 35 518 since February. (BGIS)
