One in, two out of COVID isolation

One person entered isolation today after testing positive for COVID-19, while two others were discharged after recovering.

The new positive is a 69-year-old female visitor who arrived on British Airways on November 3. She was positive after a second test.

There are 243 confirmed cases to date, comprising 128 females and 115 males. There are six people in isolation and 230 people have recovered. Barbados has recorded seven deaths.

The Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory conducted 531 tests yesterday, bringing the tally to 39 052. (BGIS)
