Fogging Schedule November 23 to 27

The Vector Control Unit will continue its fogging programme to control the Aedes aegypti mosquito population this week in selected areas in St Michael.

On Monday, they will visit Durham Close, Weston Terrace, Denton Road, Ulster Road, Brecon Road, Ealing Road, Rockhampton Road, Rochester Road, Inniss Close, Long Gap, Husbands Land, Piedmont Park, Field Side Drive, Straker Road, Hope Land, Cave Land and the environs.

The following day, they will fog Long Gap with Avenues, Rogers Terrace with avenues, Pillersdolf Development with avenues, Pembroke Road, Grazettes Court with avenues, Grazettes Tenantry, Derriston Road and surrounding areas.

On Wednesday, the team will focus on New Orleans with Avenues, Pickwick Gap with Avenues, Westbury Road, Phillips Gap, School Gap, Pounders Gap, Grants Gap, Rihanna Drive, Parris Gap with Avenues and neighbouring districts.

The next day, they will go into Nelson Street, Cypress Street, Combermere Street, Beckwith Street, Wellington Street, Vine Street, Queen Street, Jordans Lane, and the environs. Passage Road, Kensington Lodge, Baxter’s Road, King Street, Hunte Street, Chapman Street, Green Lane, Lightfoot Lane, Sobers Lane, Mahogany Lane, Whitepark Road and the surrounding areas will also be sprayed.

The fogging exercise for the week will conclude on Friday, when the Unit visits Kensington New Road, Farnum Land, Murphy Pasture, Chapman Lane with avenues, Lakes Folly, Mason Hall Street, Reed Street, Suttle Street, Tudor Street and the environs.

Fogging takes place from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. daily. Householders are reminded to open their windows and doors so that the spray can enter. (BGIS)
